For the subhalo catalogs, mainly the hydrodynamic catalogs, are the given SubhaloVmax and SubhaloVmaxRad quantities from the total (all particle data) circular velocity curve and not the dark matter curve? If so, is the only way to retrieve the dark matter values is from the snapshot data?

Hi Alex,
Pretty sure that's right, they will be for total matter. If you wanted a Vmax by component, or indeed actual rotation curves by component, you would want to pull these out of the particle data.
