Comparison of halo mass functions

Hi,
The halo mass function I calculated from the TNG300-1-Dark simulation is clearly lower than the theoretical result at the high-mass end. In the range of 10^12–10^14 solar masses, the difference is about 10%–20%. But for halos between 10^14 and 10^15 solar masses, the simulated dndm is more than 30% lower than the theoretical prediction.
Have you ever compared halo mass functions? Is my result reasonable?
I look forward to your response.

No I don't think it could be so far away, the issue is perhaps related to units (e.g. little h factors?) or normalization conventions.

Thank you for your reply! I’ll double-check my results. In my comparison, I used virial masses fitted from my own method — I'm not sure if that might be causing the discrepancy. For the theoretical reference, I used the Watson et al. (2013) mass function.

After checking, I found that the issue was indeed caused by my use of the virial mass for fitting. When using the FOF mass, the resulting halo mass function agrees well with the theoretical fit. Thanks again for your previous response.
